So, I'm rereading a lot of old rants, specifically from the time that all my first set of big problems started having solutions and things were coming together:

And it is amazing. They are were such big problems and I was in such turmoil and had such anxiety. And almost everything worked out for a while. Things came together. It gives me a new strength right now to know that I may be in that position again, a place where the dawn is just beginning to break. There were a few differences that make this period of time a little bit worse, but still. It's amazing to know I'm at the brink of having the waves break in my favor, and having things work out. I love reading these. I remember how I felt back then, and the subsequent elation when my problems worked out.

I think nowadays I have less problems, and let's face it, less serious problems. I'm dealing with them worse though, but we can change that. I think I dealt with the first round of troubles better - and I'm not sure why. Still had money troubles, car troubles (although I WAS mobile), and career troubles. A big part of that is that I had wheels and resources.

But gads. I'm going to read more of these, until I get my hope back. And boy, howdy, I was a shitload more funny back then.

So, I'm hitting all the entries that I wrote last summer. It was a hugely wonderful summer. I had the Mill, and two treasured best friends. I ran in the mornings and enjoyed my friends in the afternoon. I am filled with warm fuzzies when I read them, although I have a melancholy twinge in knowing that it's all gone.
